About Helen Lee
Helen Lee
A native of the South, Helen Lee's paintings demonstrate a dynamic new freshness in perception and communication of color and design.
She lived and traveled in Europe in the 1960's. Her formal art training began in the classrooms, museums and galleries of the countries of Europe. She later lived in Hawaii and traveled extensively in the Far East. Her works have been exhibited in Europe, on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii, and throughout the southern United States. They are included in many private and corporate collections.
Her work was featured in the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games and her painting, "River Walk" was cover art for the Columbus, Georgia International Marketing Campaign folder sent world wide, describing Columbus, Georgia, the venue for the first Women's Softball Games.
Helen Lee now resides in Columbus, Georgia, where she devotes her time and energies to painting. She is currently creating a series of works of the Chattahoochee River Walk.
